Spurs are interested in signing Barcelona's former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song this summer, according to the Sunday People.

Song, 26, joined Barca from the Gunners in August 2012 in a deal worth £15m, but has never been a regular at the Camp Nou.

The Cameroonian defensive midfielder has made just 12 La Liga starts for Tata Martino's side this season, finding himself behind the triumvirate of Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Sergio Busquets more often than not.

Frustrated at his lack of playing time, the former Gunner has just one year remaining on his currrent deal with Barcelona.
