Spurs have identified West Brom's Ben Foster as Hugo Lloris' replacement should the Frenchman leave, according to the Metro.

The 31-year-old denied Tim Sherwood's side a victory on Saturday, saving Emmanuel Adebayor's first-half penalty in the 3-3 draw at the Hawthorns.

French international Lloris has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane in recent weeks, with Sherwood slapping a £100m price tag on the former Lyon keeper's head.

"He is one of the best keepers around," Sherwood told Sky Sports. "Of course, people are going to want him. But I'm also sure the club won't be tempted to get rid of him.

"He is one of the top goalies and unless someone is going to spend £100million on him - and keepers do not get bought for that money - I don't think he will leave."

Foster has been a model of consistency for Albion since joining the Midlands outfit from Birmingham City in 2011.
