Holland manager Louis Van Gaal is free to hold talks with Tottenham about becoming their next head coach, according to the Telegraph.
Current Spurs boss Tim Sherwood looks likely to be replaced come the end of the seasin and Van Gaal, 62, along with Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino, are the likely contenders to replace him.
Van Gaal has already announced he will leave his current post after the World Cup finals and has been given permission by the Dutch FA to negotiate his next job.
It’s believed that Van Gaal wants his future to be sorted out by the May 7, when he will begin his preparations for the World Cup with the Netherlands.
Although he is the favourite for the Spurs job, Van Gaal has also been linked with the Manchester United job, should David Moyes be relinquished of his duties at the end of the season.
