Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen says he will not seek a move away from White Hart Lane if the club do not qualify for next season's Champions League.

Tottenham currently trail fourth-place Arsenal by eight points, with Roberto Martinez's Everton just a point behind the Gunners with a game in hand.

Despite having the benefit of a relatively kind run-in, it looks increasingly unlikely that Tim Sherwood's side will return to the Champions League after three seasons out of the competition.

However, Danish international Eriksen says his commitment to Spurs goes beyond European qualification: "For me, the feeling I have at the club isn't dependent on being in the Champions League," Eriksen told the Daily Mirror.

"Our aim now is to win all our matches so that we end the season with some confidence ahead of next year and if we do that, we can see where it takes us in the table."

The 22 year-old has been one of few causes for optimism in a disappointing season for Spurs, impressing in a variety of roles since joining from Dutch giants Ajax last summer.
