Tim Sherwood could replace West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel at the end of the season, if the Spaniard is relieved of his duties by the Baggies.

Sherwood's future at White Hart Lane is up in the air, with Spurs believed to set to replace the 45 year-old at the end of the current campaign.

A run of poor form has undermined the good start Tottenham made to life under Sherwood's stewardship, with fourth place looking increasingly unlikely for Spurs, with neighbours Arsenal currently eight points ahead.

Mel’s job is not secure either, with the former Real Betis boss having won just two of 11 games since succeeding Steve Clarke in January and several sources believe that Sherwood could succeed Mel at the end of the season.
