Carpenter nails first place finish at Grovelands
Trent Park Running Club’s Daniel Carpenter clinched top sport ahead of 78 other runners at Saturday’s Grovelands parkrun.
Carpenter crossed the line in 17.26 to seal first place while Richard Macaulay of London Heathside Runners AC was second in 17.40.
Colin Grossman of Mornington Chasers rounded off the top three as he clocked 19.25.
Lucy Owen was the first lady over the line as she returned with a time of 20.57. Sonia Spearing was second in the women’s category with 23.24 while Aoife Thompson was timed at 24.31 for third.
