Tottenham Hotspur are considering making a complaint to the FA about Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam after the midfielder's challenge on Paulinho left the Brazilian with an ankle injury.
Paulinho is set to spend the next month on the sidelines following the tackle from Adam, who was booed by Spurs fans when he was brought on in the 50th minute of Tottenham’s 3-0 win on Sunday.
Adam twice injured former Spurs star Gareth Bale and was branded a “coward” by the Welshman following a challenge in a pre-season friendly in 2012.
