Jacques Burger has been named Premiership Player of the Month for September - crowning an incredible comeback after spending two years out with a knee injury that threatened to end his career.
Burger started all four of Saracens' matches in September, which yielded four victories and 19 points for the Men in Black.
The Namibian flanker was named man of the match in wins over Harlequins and Gloucester, a game that saw him stamped on the head by Nick Wood who was sent off within two minutes.
"Jacques Burger was given man of the match and we all know the couple of years he's had," McCall said after the Gloucester match.
"To come back and put in the performances he has given so far against London Irish and again today, it's brilliant for him and it's brilliant for the club."
Burger has been rested for the last two games against London Wasps and Connacht, having been allowed to attend a family wedding at home.
