Saracens and England centre Brad Barritt ruled out for three months after recurrence of foot injury
Brad Barritt will be out for three months after the Saracens centre suffered a recurrence of a foot injury sustained at the end of last season.
Barritt was left out of the squad for the victory over Gloucester and Sarries director of rugby explained the centre's absence after the game.
"It looks like he injured that foot against Toulon back at the end of last season and it's come back again - it's one of those things, he'll be operated on and he'll be out for three months or so," McCall said.
"We're not exactly sure of the timeframe but it'll be in and around that area.
"It's really unfortunate for Brad, he's been outstanding for the last four seasons and we'll really miss him for the next three months.
"But he hasn't had much of a break for four and a half years so getting him back in January will be a real bonus for us and I think he's got a lot of look to forward to."
