Former Barcelona & Middlesbrough star Gaizka Mendieta to attend charity football tournament in Enfield

Former Valencia and Barcelona midfielder Gaizka Mendieta will be in attendance at Broomfield Youth Football Club’s annual charity football tournament.

The event, which will be held on March 24, will raise money for the clubs beneficiary sponsor, Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and in continuous support of Team Olivia.

A total of 40 teams between the ages of Under-8 and Under-11s will be in action and Broomfield are hopeful of raising £15,000 at the all-day event held at the prestigious Enfield Cricket Club venue.

Mendieta will be joined at the event by Spanish football journalist Gulliem Balague as well as other sporting guests.
