Saracens centre Adam Powell joins Newcastle Falcons with immediate effect

Saracens centre Adam Powell has joined Newcastle Falcons with immediate effect.

The 26-year-old made 135 appearances in eight seasons for Sarries but has struggled to establish himself in the first team this campaign.

Powell told the club's website: “I’ve had a great time at Saracens and will always wish the club well, but I’m really excited by what is happening at Newcastle under Dean Richards and I can’t wait to get started.”
