Enfield boxer Christopher Evangelou suffered a 97-93 points defeat against Danny Connor at the 'London's Finest' show at Wembley Arena.
The 27-year-old, who was beaten by Connor in controversial circumstances last year, boxed skilfully but was put down to his knees twice in the seventh round after Connor connected with a left to the body.
Evangelou rallied late on but the damage had already been done and Connor retained his Southern Area light-welterweight title.
The defeat was Evangelou's second defeat in his 11 professional fights.
