Green Belt Motor Club's Malcolm Wise celebrates double trophy success

Winchmore Hill racing driver Malcolm Wise received Green Belt Motor Club’s Jackson Trophy and the Trent Park Trophy after a series of impressive performances.

Wise, who is also Green Belt’s chairman, started only nine of the 16 races in the 2012 Quaife Motorsport News Saloon Car Championship but finished in the top three in seven of the hard fought events.

In the SVG Motorsport Pre 93 Touring Car Championship, he competed in his 23-year-old Ford Sapphire Cosworth. He was only on the winners’ podium once but did not finish below seventh throughout the competition.

These results were good enough for him to win the club’s most prestigious championship – the Trent Park Trophy – which goes to the competitor who produced the best performance in 15 motorsport events.

This is the 14th time Wise has won the Jackson Trophy and the tenth time that he has secured the Trent Park Trophy.
