Harry Redknapp's triple swoop for Spurs trio Andros Townsend, David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas have been thrown into doubt after negotiations between Spurs and QPR stalled.

Townsend was due for a medical at Loftus Road this morning but the winger has pulled the plug on the switch and it is thought the decision has scuppered QPR's chances of signing Bentley and Jenas too.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was prepared to accept a reduced offer from Rangers but only as long as all three players were involved in the deal.
