Tottenham are reportedly monitoring Hamburg striker Heung-Min Son.
Having lost out on the signing of Brazilian Leandro Damiao from Internacional, Andres Villas-Boas is keen to add to his attacking options.
Early reports claim that Spurs would have to pay in the region of £8m to £10m for the 20-year-old who has so far scored six goals in the Bundesliga this season.
The chances of signing Heung-Min were increased after rumours emerged that former Tottenham star, Rafael van der Vaart, has put in a good word on their behalf.
One German newspaper claimed that the Dutchman told Heung-Min: “Spurs always try to recruit the best talent from around the world. It’s why they are almost top every year.”
