Spurs are considering a surprise January move for Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder, according to TalkSport.

The Inter Milan midfielder is due for contract discussions early this week with the Serie A giants reportedly about to demand Sneijder takes a pay cut.

That could prompt the 28-year-old to look for a move as early as January with PSG, Manchester United - and Tottenham - monitoring the situation.

The North London club pulled off a similar coup when they signed Rafael van der Vaart from Real Madrid in August 2010 for just £8m.
