Thank you to all who helped Poppy Appeal
I would like to thank the people of eastern Enfield who contributed to the Poppy Appeal this year.
The Eastern Enfield branch of The Royal British Legion collected £16,000 to help serving and ex-service military personel.
Congratulations to the following collectors: Sharna, Brian, Silvie, the two Marys, Richard, John, Joyce, Christine, Jeff, Pat and Frances, who won the shield for the highest collection.
Also, thank you to the people who did the distribution, counting and refreshments (especially Mary’s ham rolls).
