The Labour members of Enfield Borough Council deserve doctorates in hypocrisy, constantly blaming the Conservative Government for all the cuts.
See Councillor George Savva’s letter (‘Stop making cuts to hurt the poor’, Opinion, October 29). What he conveniently forgets is that the cuts are due to the present Government having to rebuild the economy of this country after the last Labour administration under Gordon Brown very nearly bankrupted the state through economic incompetence. When they accept this, they might begin to move on.
