Yet again, a planning application has been lodged in relation to the Spurs football training complex, which threatens the local green belt.
This time, it is proposed that a 45-room players’ ‘lodge’ be constructed on a neighbouring farm. A lodge? Who are they trying to fool by using rustic terms?
This follows the erection of a supporters’ stand and laying of a concrete car park on the green belt site last year.
Will there be no end to the club’s disregard to the local environment?
Let us hope that the council planners and the councillors do what they are paid/elected to do, and reject this proposal at the earliest opportunity.
