I would like to commend Dave Day’s letter regarding parking fines (‘Crimes get more and more serious’, Opinion, July 23).
Some people’s ability to delude themselves into thinking that they are so important that trifling things like parking restrictions can’t possibly apply to them make the world a much poorer place.
To repeat his advice, if you don’t want to pay parking fines – don’t break the law. It really is that simple.
