Chase Farm Hospital
My husband had a stroke at around 5am and I phoned for an ambulance, which arrived very quickly.
The two young female crew members were wonderful, but said we needed to go to UCHL in London, which is the nearest dedicated stroke unit. How can that be the nearest? What rubbish about acting quickly if you have a stroke.
It’s a disgrace Chase Farm Hospital has been downgraded.
