On Friday, October 7, the Enfield Independent’s sister paper, the Haringey Independent, ran a story about house sales that should send a chill down the back of everybody who lives within a couple of miles of Pinkham Way. A couple planning to move to Berkshire have lost their buyer, who cited the proposed waste plant at Pinkham Way as the reason for withdrawing.

I had a pain in my eye over the weekend and as there is an eye problem in my family I decided I should get it checked.

Health problems will get worse
