I wish to record a public vote of thanks to our local newsagent — Mr Kani Patel of Bush Hill Parade, Ridge Avenue, on the way into Enfield.

Throughout all the difficult weather conditions of the past weeks, our daily newspapers have been delivered without fail, usually at 6am but sometimes later.

He is a splendid example of service to his customers.
