Man jailed for robbery in Edmonton

A man has been jailed for two and a half years for a robbery in Edmonton.

The court heard how the 19-year-old approached his victim, who had left the White Horse Pub, in Fore Street, Edmonton, at about 1:30am on September 1.

He approached the man and put his hands in his pockets saying "empty your pockets” at which point he pushed Hashim away.

Police caught up with Hashim after he was seen on CCTV showing off the phone to other people in Bedevere Road, a mile away from the incident.
