Pensioner rushed to hospital following crash at Culloden Road

A pensioner has been rushed to hospital with head injuries after she was struck by a car this afternoon.
The 80-year-old woman was hit in Culloden Road at approximately 2.30pm.
Paramedics treated the pedestrian at the scene before she was taken via ambulance to the Royal London Hospital.
The Ridgeway was closed for more than an hour while the incident was resolved.
