Enfield police have issued a further statement about the evacuation from Enfield Civic Centre in Silver Street.
The statement said: "Police were contacted at 11.10hrs on Friday 28th September with regards to a security alert at Enfield Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield.
"The building was evacuated and staff were allowed back into the building shortly after 12.30pm."
