Jail for Brimsdown burglar who targeted open window

A man has been jailed for 16 months for burglary in Brimsdown.
Steven Bangs, 30, of no fixed address, was sentenced on Friday at Wood Green Crown Court for breaking into the property in Carterhatch Road on July 13.
Bangs entered the property through an open window at approximately 2am.
However, the woman was woken by voices and it is believed he fled without taking any property.
The victim called police who arrested Bangs and another man in the same road for burglary.
His accomplice was released due to insufficient evidence.
