More than 150 Olympic games makers enjoyed a reception on Thursday to say thank you for their part in the Games.

Olympic sprinter Margaret Adeoye and athlete Simeon Williamson attended the two-hour celebration at Forty Hall.

The Mayor of Enfield Councillor Kate Anolue also presented medals to 80 people who won gold in this year’s London Youth Games in aquathlon, angling, football, girls table tennis and Boccia.

Olympic torchbearer Julia Bailey was also part of the crowd, with attendees enjoying food and drinks.

The event was organised by Enfield Council's everybody active team.
