Time for Palmers Green Community Festival in Broomfield Park

A Palmers Green festival postponed for two months due to wet weather will go ahead today.

The annual Palmers Green Community Festival in Broomfield Park will run between 12pm and 7.30pm, with visitors able to enjoy a fun fair, a climbing wall as well as dance classes and demonstrations.

More than 20 bands will also perform at the festival, which is free to attend.

The event was originally planned for June 24, but was cancelled a fortnight ahead of the event.

Organisers feared the waterlogged grounds of Broomfield Park, which are Grade 2 listed, could become damaged when vehicles loaded stalls and entertainment.
