Attempted bank robbery in Palmers Green

An attempted robbery took place in a Palmers Green bank yesterday. 

The door and window of the Halifax store in 256 to 258 Green Lanes were smashed, leaving shattered glass all over the street.

Police were called at approximately 5.20pm following reports of a robbery involving a small silver hatchback car.

Detectives from the Flying Squad are investigating but there have been no arrests at this stage.
