Puppy dies after being dumped in carrier outside house in Edmonton

A Jack Russell puppy died last week after it was dumped in a front garden in Edmonton.

The puppy, placed in a cat carrier, was left outside a house in Felixstowe Road and was found on Sunday August 12.

The dog was found covered in its own urine and faeces and also had blood around its mouth and feet as it may have been trying to claw its way out.

The RSPCA is now appealing for information about the incident to try and track down those who dumped the puppy in the carrier.

It has been reported to the RSPCA that two men and a little girl were seen with the animal a week before, walking down the same street.

A neighbour had also noticed the carrier in the front garden and had assumed it was empty.

Anyone who has any information about incident have been asked to get in contact with the RSPCA on 0300 123 8018.
