A disabled woman will take part in a triathlon today to raise money for a care charity.

Anne Taylor, 54, of Broomfield Avenue in Palmers Green, will ride 5km in a sports wheelchair and swim 400m to raise cash for charity Leonard Cheshire Disability.

She will complete the challenge with two members of staff from the charity – Begona Mendez, who will cycle 15km, and Robert Hambrook, who will run 5km.

She has raised £100 to date, but hopes to make at least double that by the end of the weekend.
