10:08am Tuesday 14th August 2012 in News By Hermione Wright
Further images of people caught on CCTV in Enfield during the riots have been released.
The pictures show people who were in the vicinity of the disorder in Enfield between August 6 and 10 last year, and may be able to help officers with their enquiries.
In total, more than 2,000 offenders across London have been brought to justice since the riots broke out just over a year ago.
DCI Ian Elliott, Operation Withern North, said: “The Metropolitan Police Service continues to investigate crimes committed during last year’s disorder. If you can identify any of the people featured here then I urge you to contact us.”
He added: “I would like to reassure the public that we will do everything we can to stop anything like those events from ever happening again and that we have learnt from what happened and have strengthened our ability to prevent them in future.”
If anyone recognises anyone from the images, they should contact the Operation Withern North Investigation Team on 0208 345 3842.
