Afghanistan Olympians visit Palmers Green mosque

Thirty members of the Afghanistan National Olympic team will visit a Palmers Green mosque today to enjoy an interfaith dinner.
The fast-breaking meal, which starts at 7pm at Palmers Green Mosque in Oakthorpe Road, will allow for people of different faiths, beliefs and ages to connect with each other.
The event, which is invite only, is supported by Faith Regen Foundation, Islamic Society of Britain, MINAB, MCB, Ahlul-Bayt TV, MADE in Europe and Islamic Help.
The event is one of many social action activities taking place across the UK during August to coincide with Ramadan.
