Commuters face long delays after person hit by train at New Southgate

COMMUTERS are facing delays of up to 45 minutes after a person was hit by a train at New Southgate this evening.

Passengers travelling on East Coast, First Capital Connect, First Hull Trains and Grand Central lines can expect delays on journeys to and from London Kings Cross.

The delays are expected to last until 9pm.

First Capital Connect passengers will be accepted on East Coast services between Stevenage and Peterborough.

First Capital Connect, East Coast and First Hull Trains passengers are being accepted on East Midlands Trains via all reasonable routes.
