SWINE flu's current status in the borough should become clear tomorrow, after a press conference was called.
The meeting is due to take place at Enfield Council's Civic Centre, in Silver Street, Enfield Town, at 10am tomorrow.
Dr Shahed Ahmed, NHS Enfield's director of public health, Neil Rousell, Enfield Council's joint director of education and children's services and Ray James, its director of health and adult social care will be available to discuss the issue.
The Enfield Independent has asked both the council and Enfield NHS a series of questions about the current swine flu situation in the borough.
Both organisations have come under criticism over the past week after parents were sent letters from schools saying their children are at risk.
The letters said there were a small number of children affected but parents remain convinced the problem is much wider.
Unconfirmed reports have reached the Independent that hundreds of children are not attending school.
Neither organisation has yet said how many people have been affected in Enfield.
