Children under five and their families have a brand new service after Enfield Council launched 16 children's centres throughout the borough.
These centres are hubs for young children and their families, offering integrated services and information. The centres will offer early education and affordable childcare, advice on parenting, local childcare options and access to specialist services for families.
They also offer child and family health services, including health screening, health visitor services and breast feeding support, and help getting parents back into work Peter Lewis, director of education, children’s services and leisure, said,: “These centres support children when they are very young giving them and their families all round help for good health, education and improved chances in life.”
