Two people who signed up for Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s exercise and nutrition programme are now leading more active and healthier lives.
Jesus Salazar and Susan Moyse took part in the Premier League club’s exercise and nutrition programme Shape Up with Spurs.
Shape Up with Spurs is a 10-week programme that helps people of Haringey lose weight, get fit and become healthy.
Jesus Salazar, who now does four hours of exercise a week, said: “The nutritional information given by Tottenham Hotspur, coupled with an understanding of the need for good diet and exercise, has helped me to lose almost 10 kilograms during the 10 weeks of the programme.”
Susan Moyse, added: “I took part in an all-female group, so I felt comfortable in the exercise class and have doubled the amount of exercise I was doing before, losing four kilograms and four inches off my waist.
“The support of the instructors has helped me set challenging yet realistic goals, allowing me to make a real change in my life.”
The next 10-week Shape Up with Spurs programme starts in January.
Sessions take place at Tottenham Community Sports Centre.
