Five-hundred tonnes of mulch in an open field caught fire this morning.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called to a farm in The Ridgeway, Enfield at around 6.45am on Friday (December 1).
It took two hours for the fire to be brought under control.
Fire crews from Enfield, Southgate and Edmonton fire stations attended along with colleagues from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
