TWO teenagers have been arrested after a boy was found stabbed to death in a suspected knife fight.
Police were called to reports of a group of youths fighting with knives in Tottenham shortly after 5pm yesterday.
Officers and paramedics arrived to find the boy, believed to be 17, with critical stab wounds.
Despite efforts to save his life, the teenager died at the scene in Tynemouth Road, the Met said.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and a 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and affray.
They are both in custody at separate north London police stations.
While detectives believe they know who the dead boy is, a formal identification has not been taken.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information concerning the incident to come forward.
