TEENAGERS have been arrested after being caught climbing over the barriers into the Palace of Westminster.
The 15-year-olds climbed over a low barrier into the car park and stayed there for 30 seconds before crossing back into the public area.
But when a police officer approached them they attempted to run away before being caught and arrested on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site.
They did not gain access to any building during the incident, on Saturday, April 1. They have been bailed to May.
The incident is not being treated as terrorist-related.
