A new trampoline park in Enfield will officially open tomorrow, bringing with it dozens of jobs.
Jump In, which already runs indoor parks in Slough, Tonbridge and Warwick, say the opening of their new 22,000 sqft venue has created 50 jobs.
The park, which officially opens on Saturday, January 14, is in the Lumina Industrial Park off the A10.
It has interconnected trampolines, a launch pad, a max air trampoline and a designated kids’ zone.
Jump In's chief executive Gavin Lucas said: “Trampolining has become one of the fastest growing sports in the country, it’s great fun, affordable and open to all ages and all skill levels, and is a fantastic way to exercise while spending time with your family.”
Plans for the park were initially met with a lukewarm reaction when the planning department received a report last September recommending that plans for Jump In be scrapped.
However, manager Manjit Bansal said: “We have been receiving about a thousand Facebooks likes a week and getting pretty good feedback from the locals.”
