After the recent chilly weather it will be milder later this week, with the chance for highs of 13°C on Thursday.

A Met Office yellow warning of fog has been in place since 6pm yesterday and lasts until 9am. The office said: “Areas of fog, including some locally dense freezing fog patches with visibility less than 100m, will readily form on Monday evening and persist through the night into Tuesday. Please be aware of likely tricky road travel conditions.”
