Four children and two adults were rescued from a fire in Southgate.
A maisonette in Bowes Road caught fire around 10pm last night (October 17) and one man managed to escape before fire crews arrived.
Fire crews from Southgate, Finchley and Hornsey fire stations attended the scene, rescuing a further two adults and four children from a neighbouring building.
Parts of both the first and ground floor were left damaged by the fire.
The fire was under control by around midnight and its cause is being investigated.
