Patients and families will be able to check out Enfield’s cancer services at a coffee morning this week.
North Middlesex University Hospital will host the MacMillan-backed event on Friday, September 30, where over 20 hospital and community services will talk to patients and offer specialist information and support in the hospital’s atrium from 9am to 1pm.
Clinical nurse specialists will provide advice about treatment, and the hospital’s clinical trials, chaplaincy, clinical psychology and radiography teams will talk about their work.
The event is being staged by the hospital’s Macmillan Cancer Support Centre to raise money for cancer patients and their families.
Centre manager Gillian Constance said: “It’s a great chance for local people to find out more about cancer services, have a chat and enjoy a slice of cake.”
