Wood Green man jailed for Tube sex assault
A man has been jailed after committing sexual assault on a busy Tube train.
Lloyd Weekes, of Trinity Road, Wood Green, was sentenced to 20 months in prison at Blackfriars Crown Court on September 13.
The 54-year-old man has also been placed on the sex offenders register.
Weekes sexually assaulted a woman while travelling on the Victoria Line almost exactly a year before his sentencing, on September 15, 2015.
He stood closely behind his victim on a busy train, rubbed himself against her, then followed her onto the next train.
The victim reported the incident, and British Transport Police were able to identify Weekes via CCTV.
