An Enfield man celebrated a "fantastic day" after completing his tenth London marathon at the weekend
Herbie Williams, a 61-year-old car mechanic, raised over £1,700 for deafblind children and adults through the charity Sense - the seventh time he has represented the group - and completed the 26 miles in six hours and 46 minutes.
He said: “I’m so happy, it was a fantastic day and the crowds helped carry me through the tough parts of the race.
"It’s great to know people will be benefitting from the money I have raised, and I’d like to thank all those who supported my fundraising efforts. ”
