FOUR people were rescued after a fire broke out in a block of flats.
The blaze broke out at Plowman Close, Edmonton, at 10.30pm.
Firefighters rescued a woman from the secnd floor, a woman on the first floor and two women in the ground floor.
Another man managed to escape before firefighters arrived and all five were treated for smoke inhalation.
Four fire brigades and 21 firefighters battled the flames.
A flat on the ground floor was damaged by the blaze.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
