A rundown park with old play equipment will be turned into a dinosaur-themed play area.
Friends of Tatem Park, a volunteer group, have been given £50,000 from Biffa Award’s Recreation theme to transform the playground into a safer place for young people to use.
The group have previously worked on Tatem Park, Edmonton, to rebuild the biodiversity of the area but with the new financial backing, they plan to provide new safety surfacing and attract more young people with dinosaur themed equipment and fossils.
