A third stabbing in under two weeks has seen a man taken to hospital.

The man, said to be in his 20s, was stabbed in the chest, in Hertford Road, Edmonton, this morning.

The incident comes just eight days after 28-year-old Michael Adegbite was stabbed to death in Lackmore Road, in Enfield, following an attempted robbery of his laptop.

London Ambulance service said that the man was taken to an east London hospital where he was treated for a single stab wound to the chest.

His injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.

Police arrested the man at the scene at approximately 10.40am and he has been remanded in custody.

The incident also comes two weeks after a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in Hoe Lane.
